The Periods of the Prohibition of Termination and the Unpaid Leave are extended

Through the Presidential Decree numbered 3930 (“Decree”) published in the Official Gazette dated 30.04.2021 and numbered 31470, the periods of the prohibition of termination and the unpaid leave practices are extended until 30.06.2021.

Under the Decree, the periods of the unpaid leave practice and the prohibition of termination of all kinds of employment agreements, -except for termination due to the reasons contrary to ethics and good faith regulated under Article 25/1(II) and the reasons specified in the article, termination of the term of the fixed-term employment contract, closure of the workplace for any reason and termination of the activity, termination of all kinds of service procurement and construction works- within the scope of Provisional Article 10 of Labor Law No. 4857 are extended until 30.06.2021 as of 17.05.2021.
