Erdem & Erdem Academy: Competitive Concerns in Human Resources Practices
On Thursday, 18 December 2023, we held a panel at Erdem & Erdem Academy where we discussed competitive concerns in human resources practices.
In the panel moderated by our Partner and Competition and Compliance Leader Mert Karamustafaoğlu, our Senior Associate Merve Bakırcı discussed the basic regulations in competition law, the Competition Board's process and preliminary investigation decisions regarding labor markets and the Board's recent investigations while our Managing Associate Ecem Süsoy Uygun discussed the Board's private hospitals decision, labor markets decision, pharmaceutical industry investigation and what should not be done in labor markets practices.
It was emphasized that in this field, where many developments are taking place worldwide, the Competition Board is expected to impose administrative fine of large amounts. You can find the relevant presentation below.
