Yasar University Sports Law Summit 2022
The Sports Law Summit organized by Yaşar University Law Society was held on Wednesday, December 14th between 12:30 - 18:00 at Yaşar University Main Conference Hall.
Can Yıldız, one of our associates, took part as a speaker in the event where many topics such as arbitration in sports, overview of sports law, athlete contracts and transfers, Law No. 7405 on Sports Clubs and Sports Federations and doping were discussed.
Making a presentation on "Competition Problems in Super League Broadcasting Rights", Can Yıldız discussed the status of the Turkish Football Federation in terms of competition law, the jurisdiction of the Competition Board in this field, the general framework of the Super League broadcasting rights tenders and the recent decisions of the Competition Board on the broadcasting rights agreements in his presentation.
The interactive Sports Law Summit, where professionals in the field discussed the topics where sports and law cross, attracted a lot of participation and interest.
