Melis Ünlü
Biography
Melis Ünlü, is an Associate in the Corporate Affairs Department of Erdem & Erdem. She provides legal consultancy particularly in the areas of national and international mergers and acquisitions, capital markets law and banking and finance law.
Melis is involved in general corporate advisory matters, including assisting in legal due diligence within M&A transactions, contract drafting, and corporate governance tasks. She provides day-to-day legal support to domestic and foreign companies on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
She also contributes to capital markets projects, taking part in initial public offering preparations. Additionally, Melis advises clients on e-commerce, consumer protection law and health law.

- Legal advisory services for the IPO of shares of a conglomerate operating in tourism sector in Türkiye.
- Involvement in legal due diligence processes regarding the acquisition of the majority of shares of a company operating in the e-commerce sector.
- Participation in legal due diligence processes related to the acquisition of companies engaged in health sector.
- Preparation of corporate governance documents (general assembly documents, relevant board decisions) of companies working in various sectors
- Providing consultancy services for company incorporation and preparation of necessary documents.
- Providing consultancy services to Turkish and multinational companies in all corporate advisory matters, including capital increases and decreases.
- Preparation of the set of documents required for partial spin-off transactions.
- Providing consultancy services to foreign tech company regarding waste management regulations in Türkiye.
