The live webinar titled “Obstacles Faced by Start-ups”, organized with the cooperation of Erdem & Erdem Law Office and Turkish Capital Markets Association (TCMA) was held on 23 March 2021.
In the online panel moderated by Tevfik Eraslan, TCMA Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem, Founder and Senior Partner of Erdem & Erdem; Attila Köksal, Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association (FLIA) Chairman and Tolga Tatari, Founding Partner of Akinon were the speakers.
In the panel which was broadcasted live on Zoom and Youtube platforms, Prof. Erdem discussed the legal obstacles that start-ups face during the processes of formation, investment or the investor’s exit. The guest speaker Mr. Köksal conveyed the financial obstacles faced by entrepreneurs and the positive financial developments in start-up ecosystem in recent years, while the other guest speaker Mr. Tatari, informed participants regarding the problems encountered in e-commerce and the contributions of multi-channel and omni-channel platforms to retailers.
