Law No. 7590 Introducing Amendments in Various Areas Published in the Official Gazette
Law No. 7590 on the Amendment of Certain Laws and Decree-Laws (Law), which was adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye on 24 July 2026, was published in the Official Gazette dated 31 July 2026 and numbered 33326.
The Law introduces significant amendments in various areas, particularly social security, taxation, employment, tourism, energy, public procurement and transportation. In addition, the duties and powers of the Cybersecurity Presidency, which is designated as the competent authority under Cybersecurity Law No. 7545, have been expanded, and the allocation of duties and powers in the field of electronic communications has been revised.
Specific effective dates have been prescribed for certain provisions of the Law. The remaining provisions, including the amendments to Cybersecurity Law No. 7545, entered into force on the date of publication.
