The Regulation on Remote Working was published
The Regulation on Remote Working (“Regulation”) which stipulates works that cannot be realized remotely, operation rules regarding data protection and transfer and the procedures and principles of remote working, entered into force through its publication in the Official Gazette dated 10.03.2020 and numbered 31419.
Remote working refers to the employment relationship established in writing, based on the principle that the employee performs his/her job at home or outside the workplace with technological communication tools within the scope of the work organization created by the employer.
Through the Regulation, details on the following issues were regulated:
- The form and the content of the contract
- Procurement of place of work, the materials and tools required for work
- Determination of working duration
- Covering of production costs
- Communication
- Data protection
- Occupational health and safety precautions
- Works which cannot be realized remotely
- Conditions for transition to remote working
