The Eligible Consumer Limit in Electricity was reduced
Through the promulgation of the Decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Board (EMRA) dated 17.12.2020 numbered 9814 (Decision), published in the Official Gazette dated 22.12.2020 and numbered 31342, the eligible consumer limit for electricity that will be valid in 2021 has been changed.
Through the Decision, the electricity eligible consumer limit, which was 1400 kilowatt hour (kWh), is reduced to 1200 kilowatt hour for 2021. Consumers who exceed the mentioned limit and become eligible consumers have the right to buy cheaper electricity through bilateral agreements by choosing their own electricity supplier.
